Little Rock, AR – Little Rock advertising agency, Kirkpatrick Creative, has hired Tulane University student, Colin Boyd, to help with their summer workload. Boyd is a History and Political Science double-major. In the office, he is helping with client research and lead generation for Kirkpatrick’s growing law firm marketing strategy.
“Colin is a great guy, who shows great promise. We’re excited to have him here,” said Marketing Director Michael Kirkpatrick. “In any business there are lessons you’re never going to cover in the classroom. We hope to show Colin the more personal side of the business.”
Boyd is learning much more than he bargained for: “I wasn’t expecting it to be so objective-driven. The term ‘Advertising Firm’ usually summons images of Mad Men or Wolf on Wall Street. I’ve seen that business is business, no matter how expensive your suit is.”
Kirkpatrick hopes that Boyd’s success will lead to growing their internship program in the future.
